John Condron Yell Limited Queens Walk Reading RG1 7PTDear Mr Condron,
RE: Account number: xxxINSERT_ACCOUNT_NUMBERxxx.
It is with regret that I must write to you personally about my dissatisfaction with Yell Ltd.
It has come to my attention that the changes to the Yell.com search servce which were introduced on 1st April 2009 are likely to have a substantial detrimental effect on my advertising campaign’s performance.
I was sold the advertising programme based on the understanding that my advert would appear as one of ten adverts in the first page of search results on a random basis. Since the introduction of ‘Heavyweight Listings’, my advert will now only appear as one of six search results, as the first four ‘Heavyweight’ results will always displace my advert. As such, it will never appear in the first four search results.
I am writing to request a refund of all monies paid since 1st April 2009 and for my online advertising account to be closed. Upon receipt of that refund, I will re-assess my advertising position and will contact your sales team if I would like to take out another advert.
Yours sincerely,
